- Many White people grew angry over the violence on their streets and agreed it had to be stopped
- They blamed Mosley for the hostility and violence
- After the murder, many white people grew friendly towards the black people
- Mosley only got 2,000 votes and retired from politics
- Blues parties emerged after Notting Hill for entertainment for Black people
- ‘Ska’ a new music genre hit the scene
- The white culture took on more Caribbean music ‘Jamaicanisation’
